Homemade Italian Bagel bites microwave instructions
If you long for bagel bites, but also fancy custom toppings, these home made treats will make your day. Easy to make, but unforgettable.

- 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 - 8 Sundried tomatoes
- 6 - 8 Leaves of fresh basil or 1 tbsp of dried basil
- 12 Plain mini bagels
- 6 tbsp Crème fraîche
Spread crème fraîche on the plain bagels, using half a tbsp for each bite.
Cut the sundried tomatoes in half and distribute them evenly on each bagel.
If you have fresh basil on hand, grind a generous amount between your hands and toss it on the bagels, releasing the aromas from the leaves.
If you only have dried basil, that's fine too; just use a little less than you would if you had fresh basil.
Now, microwave the bagel bites for 3 minutes. Allow them to cool for 1 or 2 minutes before grating the Parmesan on top.
It is a crucial step because Parmesan loses a lot of flavors when cooked, so don't cook it.
