Crack green beans in oven recipe
A tasty substitute for fast-food French fries. My family and friends enjoy them as a snack or as an hors d'oeuvre. It never seems to be enough, no matter how many I make!

2 Pounds Trimmed fresh green beans 1 tbsp Olive oil (or as suitable) 1 tsp Kosher salt 1/2 tsp Fresh ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200 degrees C).
If necessary, pat green beans dry with paper towels before spreading them on a jellyroll pan.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Coat the beans equally with olive oil, spreading them out so they don't overlap.
Roast the beans in a warm oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are somewhat shriveled and have brown spots.
