Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Set aside a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix the sugar and butter in a separate bowl.
Whisk together the vanilla extract and egg until they are light, perfectly combined, and slightly fluffy.
Mix all the ingredients into a semi-dry mass of dough.
Add the chocolate chips right from the fridge so they don’t melt. Don’t overwork them with your warm hands because they will slightly melt.
Take an ice cream scoop or a medium-sized spoon to pick up the same-sized batches of cookie dough. Form each of them into a ball.
Arrange the cookie dough balls on the baking tray with parchment paper. Leave some space between them evenly. They will spread out during baking.
Bake the cookie batch for 10 minutes in the preheated oven at 375 degrees, and remove them immediately. Don’t brown them!
Let them cool down before serving, eating, or putting them away.
