Remove the Tyson chicken tenders from their original packing and place them in a bowl. If you are using frozen chicken tenders, first defrost them.
Then, run the tender under lukewarm water for about 3 minutes. This will ensure that all the bacteria present in the tenders are removed completely. Also, pat dries each piece with a paper towel after you have washed them.
After this step is done, place 1 tsp of cornstarch in the bowl containing the chicken tenders. Mix well. This will ensure that each chicken tender piece is properly coated with cornstarch.
Remove 5-6 chicken tender at a time from the bowl and place them in your air fryer basket. Ensure that you don't pile up the pieces to avoid uneven cooking.
Spray generous olive oil in the air fryer basket. This will ensure that the chicken tenders are crispy when cooked.
Add 1 tsp of cornstarch to another bowl and add 2 tbsp of water to it. Ensure that you have mixed the ingredients thoroughly.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper on top of the tender. This will give it an extra punch of flavor. Pour the bowl contents over the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket.
Ensure that you have coated each one properly with the mixture before doing so. Place all these tender pieces back in your air fryer basket and close the lid tightly.
Set your air fryer to 200 Degrees Celsius and set the timer for 15 minutes. Allow it to cook.
Open your air fryer after 10-12 mins and shake the tender around in the basket. This will ensure that they are cooked evenly on all sides.
Also, close the lid again and wait for another 5-6 mins to allow the tenders to cook properly.
After cooking, your air fryer chicken tenders are ready to be served. You can enjoy your Tyson chicken tenders with a sauce of your choice.
