- 1 Scoop of peanut butter
- 1 Banana, (ripe, brown, frozen)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 1 Scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
- ½ cup Almond milk
Put the frozen banana, peanut butter, greek yogurt, almond milk, and protein powder into a blender.
Mix them on medium power for 2 minutes, then on high power for 1 minute.
Serve the smoothie preferably in a chilled glass.
This recipe doesn’t incorporate ice, because contrary to popular belief, peanut butter tastes best at room temperature. Ice will take away lots of the richness and creaminess in this recipe.
However, if you can’t live without cool smoothies, and have a hard time waking up, adding some ice won’t ruin this recipe. It’s up to your preferences. You can garnish it with some crushed peanuts on top. Enjoy this healthy drink at any time!
