Old-fashioned Goulash Pioneer Woman Recipe

- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 1 Green bell pepper (diced)
- 3 Cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 can Diced tomatoes, undrained (14.5 ounces)
- 1 can Tomato sauce (8 ounces)
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried basil
- 1/4 cup Red wine
- 1 pound Elbow macaroni
- 3 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley
Heat the oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt, and black pepper and cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, oregano, basil, and wine, and bring to a simmer.
Add the macaroni and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Stir in the parsley and serve.
