Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Diced onion
  • 1 Garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon White sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. 
  • Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened. 
  • Stir in flour, and slowly whisk in chicken broth. 
  • Add cayenne, black, thyme, basil, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. 
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
