Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a large pot, brown the ground beef and drain any excess grease.
Add in the pasta sauce and simmer.
In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
To assemble, spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
Top with a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with another layer of noodles, and then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layering until all ingredients are used up.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
