Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1/2 Onion (diced)
  • 1 Green pepper (diced)
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (15 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and green pepper until the beef is browned and the vegetables are soft.
  • Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, and black pepper to the pan and stir until well combined.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes or until heated through.
  • Serve the sloppy joes on hamburger buns, and enjoy!

Notes

Note: If you're looking for an even easier recipe, you can use pre-made sloppy joe mix in place of the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Simply follow the instructions on the package and add the mix to the pan with the ground beef and vegetables.
