Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until just blended.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto a prepared baking sheet. Bake until cookies are golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  • Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Store in an airtight container.
