Recipe: How long to cook frozen meatballs in the crockpot
Frozen meatballs are called a working mom’s favorite dish for a reason. Mom puts all her ingredients at once, sets the burner level and timer, gets back to take care of other responsibilities, and comes back when the bell rings to a pot filled with sumptuous meatballs dish. She does all these and retains her reputation as a great cook.

- 1 - 2 Bags Frozen meatballs
- A jar of your favorite sauce
Throw in your meatballs in the crockpot.
Next, coat your meatballs with your bbq sauce, teriyaki sauce, spaghetti sauce, or any of your favorite sauces.
Cover the crockpot with the lid and set it on low cook for at least 6 hours. This is enough for your meat to get tender.
You can allow cooking for longer for up to 8 hours if you want a more tender meatball.
Serve your meatballs with long toothpicks and sauce or any intended dish!
Examples of the sauce you can use include:
- Teriyaki sauce. Great for appetizers for a crowd especially when you sprinkle sesame seeds on top afterward.
- Barbecue sauce. Very easy recipe.
