Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/2 Onion (diced)
  • 1 Garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the black beans, chili powder, cumin, and salt, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the water and cook for two more minutes.
  • Using a potato masher or the back of a spoon, mash the beans until they reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, salsa, or cheese.
