- 1 pound Kirby cucumbers
- 1/2 cup White vinegar
- cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seed
- 1/2 teaspoon Celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 Clove of garlic, peeled and halved
- 1 cup Sater
Wash the cucumbers and trim off the ends. Cut the cucumbers into 1/2-inch slices.
In a large bowl, combine the cucumbers, vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed, celery seed, turmeric, and garlic.
Pour the mixture into a quart-sized jar or container. Add the water, screw on the lid, and shake to combine.
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
The pickles will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
