This recipe has an unrivaled fluidity of flavor pairings, and the batch of lavender is just a luxury to elevate it.
7Medium-sized pears (preferable Williams pear, but others will suffice); 4 for decoration, 3 goes into the cake
200mlCherry flavored light beer
200grPlain white chocolate
2tbspLavender or a few drops of lavender extract
12ozCream cheese (we suggest mascarpone)
150grBrown sugar
150grHeavy cream whipped
2tbspOrange zest
A pinch of orange peels
½tbspVanilla extract
1tbspButter for the cake form
200grCinni-Minnis or any plain cinnamon cereal
180grButter for the crust
Instructions
Grease the cake form with butter and hint it evenly with flour to make sure your cake won’t stick to it.
First, make the crust by melting the butter, and in a shredder combine it with the cinnamon cereal. Spread it evenly into the cake form and bake in the preheated oven at 325 degrees for 20 mins.
Start cutting the pears. Slice 4 of them into long quarters after removing the seeds and stems. On the stovetop, pour the cherry beer into the saucepan and on low heat, poach the pears face down with the lid on. Cook them for 20 minutes.
Cut the remaining 3 pairs into uniformly small cubes after peeling and removing the stems and seeds. On the stovetop, cook them with 100ml of water, 150gr brown sugar, and the lavender on medium heat for 20 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, melted white chocolate, the whipped heavy cream, orange zest and peels, vanilla extract, and finally, the sugary lavender cooked pear cubes. Mix them well.
Pour your cake mix over the crust and place your pear quarters on top to mark the slices. Place it in the preheated oven and bake it at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve it chilled.
