Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Fettuccine pasta (16-ounce)
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 Cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes, undrained (14.5 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup Tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup White wine
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp Chopped fresh basil
  • Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water according to package directions. Drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, thyme and salt; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste and wine.
  • Bring to a simmer; cook until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
  • Stir in parsley and basil; season with black pepper to taste.
  • Serve the pasta.
