Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 stick Butter (8 tablespoons)
  • 2 cups Whole milk, warmed
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter and milk and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir in the parsley leaves. Serve warm or transfer to a covered container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat before serving.
