Sweet Heat Sauce Popeyes
This Sweet Heat Sauce is a copycat recipe of the popular sauce from Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. It is perfect for dipping, as a chicken wing sauce, or as a condiment on sandwiches and burgers. The combination of sweet and spicy flavors in this sauce is amazing!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Molasses
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together all of the ingredients.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool slightly.
