Mikes Farm Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 package Cream cheese, softened (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cyenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and salt until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Finally, stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add cooked macaroni and cheeses to the saucepan and stir until well combined. Pour into the prepared dish.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
