Aunt Jemima Waffles (Copycat Recipe)
These waffles are soft and light, with a subtle sweetness that is perfect for topping with your favorite syrup or fruit. If you want a little extra flavor, add a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter

- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking soda
- 2 Egs (beaten)
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 5 tbsp Melted butter or margarine
Heat waffle iron.
Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
Pour 1/2 cup batter into waffle iron.
Close the lid and bake until the waffle is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve with syrup, butter, and/or fruit.
